Pokéverse Gym Rules (Rules apply to both Leader and Challenger unless stated otherwise)

Gym Rules

* Always follow /gymrules
* Gym Leaders are allowed to view challengers team to ensure it follows all gym rules.
* No healing items of any kind (Ex. Full Restore, Potions, Revives)
* Gym Format: 12 Single Monotype Gyms and 2 Double Monotype Gyms. There is an additional 2 Dual Type Single Gyms and 2 Dual Type Double Gyms
* Each Dual type gym must include half the pokemon from one type and half from the other. E.g 2 Fire and 2 Grass for Fire/Grass gym.
* No duplicate Pokemon [Pokemon with the same Pokedex ID]
* No renamed Pokemon
* BANNED POKEMON: 2D Pokemon, Mega Rayquaza, Zacian, Zacian-Crowned, Mega Gengar, Eternamax Eternatus, Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, Calyrex Shadow Rider, Miraidon, Koraidon, Gholdengo, Urshifu Single Strike, Iron valiant, Espathra, Shedinja, Dracovish and Darmanitan Galar (Gorrila Tactics only).
* 1 Mega allowed at all times, 1 Legendary allowed only if the leader is using one too (Indicated by a green [L] next to the leader's name in /gyms.) [Mega legends & Ultra Necrozma count for both slots, Primal forms are banned]
* 1 Ultra beast or Paradox pokemon allowed. If paradox pokemon is considered a legendary, it counts for both slots and is only permitted if the gym accepts legendaries.
* No Fusions allowed
* No Shed Tail, Baton Pass, Revival Blessing, Destiny Bond, Assist, Last Respects, Dark Void, Wave Crash
* No OHKO moves [Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold]
* Banned items: Legend Plate, Weakness Policy, Red card, Eject button
* Gym Leaders & Challengers may use Mega Pokémon as long as its original typing fits the gym type. If the Pokémon is being Mega Evolved into the gym type then that is allowed too as long as the Mega evolution is done on the 1st turn it's thrown out (Ex. Mega Charizard X may be used in the Dragon gym as long as it's mega evolved on the first turn it's thrown out in battle; Mega Altaria cannot be used in the Flying Gym.)
* Challengers and Leaders must ALWAYS start the battle with the Pokémon thrown out first, however, a leader can say in chat they are switching to another because of form-related issues
* If your opponent disconnects unexpectedly during battle, wait a few minutes and do not heal or alter your Pokémon. If they rejoin, resume the battle from where you were
* Challengers MAY NOT "borrow" another person's team for the sole purpose of defeating a gym. You must train your own Pokémon with your own move sets and strategies. If you’ve purchased a pokemon in a trade you may still challenge a gym as long as it follows the previous rules. Gym Leaders may still disqualify you if they feel you’re using a Pokémon/team that’s not yours. For example, if you’re using the same team & strategy that a Gym Leader lost to the previous day, they may see fit to disqualify you
* Discussing a gym leader's team in public chats is not allowed
* Gym leaders may only use Arceus and Silvally in the normal gym. They aren't allowed to change type with their respective plates and memories
*You must follow the following clauses in all battles: Baton Pass, Dynamax, Endless Battle, Evasion, Moody, OHKO, Sleep, Species [For more info Click Here [https://www.smogon.com/ss/articles/clauses]].
* Regenerator clause - You may only bring 1 regenerator pokemon per battle
* The combination of Prankster, Lagging tail, and Copycat are not allowed on a singular pokemon.
* Banned the move Stored Power on the pokemon Espathra.
* Banned Shadow Tag, Arena Trap, Moody, and Gorilla Tactics
* No using FEAR tactics or variations of FEAR

Elite Four Rules
* Always follow /rules
* No revives or healing items
* 6v6 for Champion battles and Elite Four battles
* No duplicate Pokémon [Pokémon with the same Pokédex ID]
* No renamed Pokémon
* No Mega Rayquaza, Zacian, Zacian-Crowned, Calyrex-Shadow Rider, Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Koraidon or Miraidon
* 1 Mega & 1 Legendary allowed [Mega Legends & Ultra Necrozma count for both slots, Primal forms are banned]
* 1 Ultra Beast or Paradox Pokemon allowed. Legendary paradox pokemon count for both slots.
* No Fusions
* No using FEAR tactics or variations of FEAR
* NO OHKO Moves [Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold], Fishous Rend, Last Respects, Shed Tail, Destiny Bond, Assist, Wave Crash or Dark Void.
* Banned items: Legend Plate, Weakness Policy, Red card, Eject button
* Elite Four Leaders may only use Pokémon whose original form aligns with their Leader type
* Challengers must ALWAYS start the battle with their Pokémon thrown out first
* If your opponent disconnects unexpectedly during battle, wait a few minutes and do not heal or alter your Pokémon. If they rejoin, resume the battle from where you were
* Challengers MAY NOT "borrow" another person's team for the sole purpose of defeating a leader. You must train your own Pokémon with your own movesets and strategies. If you’ve purchased a Pokémon in a trade, you may still challenge a leader as long as it follows the previous rules. Elite Four Leaders may still disqualify you if they feel you’re using a Pokémon/team that’s not yours. For example, if you’re using the same team & strategy that an Elite Four Leader lost to the previous day, they may see fit to disqualify you.
* Regardless of leader, Challengers are allowed to use a legendary.
* Raise to cap will not be used in Elite Four battles.
* Both Leader and Challenger must have a megaband equipped during battle.
* Sleep, Evasion, Dynamax, Moody, Regenerator, Speed-Pass, and OHKO clauses are to be used in battle
* No Gorilla Tactics
* There are only 3 E4 slots PER E4 Gym.
* You may only have 1 E4 at a time
* Staff Only Clause: There can only be 1 Staff Member per E4 Gym.

Gym Leader Guidelines
* Always be nice and welcoming to Challengers of your gym
* It’s highly recommended that your team is fully IV and EV trained
* You’re only allowed to reject a Challenger with good reason, ask a staff member if you're unsure. If you apply for a Gym Leader position, you’re responsible for accepting battles. You may not frequently AFK as it detracts from everyone's experience
* Upon two weeks of inactivity, your Gym Leader status will be revoked. If staff are notified beforehand an extra two weeks of grace period may be granted
* We will not be taking Omni applications until stated otherwise.
* Gym Leaders may NOT ask for Gym Battles from others.

Gym Leader Commands
/leader accept - accepts the most recent battle request
/leader deny - denies the most recent battle request
/leader give - gives your most recent opponent their badge
/leader won - marks the most recent battle as a win (to track your win/loss
stats)
/leader legend <gym> [true/false] - indicates whether or not your party
contains a legendary in /gyms
/leader stats - view your win/loss ratio for each gym you're a leader of

Unbanned 2d Pokemon

Gyms will now have the Regenerator clause (max 1 regenerator Pokemon per team.)

Removed the restrictions on dual typings needing to have 2/2 of each Pokemon.
*Example: bug/dragon may now have 3 bug types and 1 dragon type or vice versa*

    • Swapped Ground gym to Ground/Fairy
    This gym is now 4v4 singles
    • Unbanned Pokemon: Iron Valiant

    • Unbanned Move: Dire Claw
    please note that gym leaders MUST use sleep clause. Failing to do so will allow the move to work incorrectly (edited)
