Hello I Am Lenonino a player from the Pokeflash community.
I Have been playing on a lot of different pixelmon servers and I Think in terms of activity on the server an Elite 4 Would be ideal on Pokesaga.
There would be 4 different types no champion however because I Have seen that tried out before and it did not work so well. Players would defeat the e4 and then become the champion and it would just result in the champion being inactive and the rank passed around to the next person who defeats the elite 4 or a staff member and would just not work unless you would have something like a set champion rank for 1 active player who would be considered the best battler on the server but it does not really make sense in my eyes.
The concept of the elite 4 would be 6v6 Nat Dex OU. To spice some things up 2 out of the E4 could also be 6v6 OU/Nat Dex Doubles.
So how to make this harder? I Mean we have level caps to 100 and different types already for the gyms on the server so it would not make sense.
My idea of an elite 4 would be for example the Steel E4 would have 3 Steel types and the other 3 are free choice of typings to make up for it and make a really solid team that still works really well. With some types this may be harder. The E4 would be from the best gymleaders on the server. So a requirement would be that you would need to be a gymleader to prove yourself to become an E4.
And now we go on to balancing the rewards.
The rewards for beating all of the gyms are pretty high at the moment which makes it difficult to make it better while still sustaining a healthy economy.
My suggestion would be to make it
300k
750 Tokens
1 Master Key
4 Isi Golden Hours glasses
This reward you would get after defeating the first E4.
As for the second and third one
350k
850 Tokens
1 Master Key
3 Shiny Keys
400k
950 Tokens
2 Master key
3 Shiny Keys
For the final reward in my opinion you can spice it up a bit more
600k
1200 tokens
1 Omega key
3 Shiny Keys
1 Master key
8 Isis Golden Hour Glasses
Title: Hall Of Fame
I Know these rewards might seem a bit too much still as the gym rewards are already huge. One option could be to just only give the last reward after defeating all of the E4 and skip the other 3 above. The E4 would in the end still be very hard to beat as they are consisted out of the best gymleaders on the server and knows how to make a really good team that you have to work hard to counter.
Let me know what you think and if there is another way its possible to have an E4 in the game because for me personally the game of battling does not really feel complete without an E4.
