PokeGold Monotype Battle Event

Hey PokeGold! I’ll be hosting a Monotype Battle Event this Saturday, January 8th! During this Event, players will choose a team of 6 Pokemon that all share a type. This event will follow the National Dex Monotype battle format, and the same rules and restrictions will apply.

Rules:
- Be respectful towards others. Disrespecting other players will result in disqualification.
- Only throw Pokemon out when it's your battle.
- Players do not have to lead with what they send out.
- Players cannot use the following moves: Baton Pass
- Players cannot use the following abilities: Moody, Power Construct, Shadow Tag
- Teams and Pokemon must follow Smogon's National Dex Monotype battle format (to view the ban list and further information on this format, please click here)
Clauses:
- Same Type Clause: All Pokemon in a team must share a type.
- Species Clause: Players cannot have more than one Pokemon with any National Pokedex number.
- Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot intentionally prevent their opponent's Pokemon from fainting from PP depletion and Struggle recoil.
- Sleep Clause: Players can not induce sleep on more than one of the opponent's Pokémon at once.
- Evasion Clause: Moves that boost evasion such as Minimize are banned.
- OHKO Clause: Moves that OHKO the foe (Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold) are banned.
- Dynamax Clause: Players cannot Dynamax their Pokemon.
- Bag Clause: Players cannot use items such as revives or potions in battle.
Additional Information:
We will open Sign-Ups an hour before the Event begins, where you will /msg zenzetsubou. If you are not on the server but still wish to enter (and will be online at the time the event will start), please DM zenzetsubou#3452 or send a message in #pokegold-chat discord channel.

1st Place: Random IVs HA Zapdos, Shiny Key, 75k, 200 tokens, "Monotype Master" Title
2nd Place: 80%+ IVs Keldeo, Master Key, 75k, 150 tokens, "Element Expert" Title
3rd Place: 80%+ IVs HA Primarina, Ultra Key, 50k, 150 tokens, "Mix n' Match" Title
Participation Reward: Ultra Key
