Hey PokeGold! I’ll be hosting a HeavyWeight Battle Event next Saturday, November 27, 2021! During this Event, players will bring their own team of 6 Pokemon consisting of 1 Uber and 5 others following the National Dex format to battle for the rewards listed under!

Rules:​

• Be respectful toward others, Disrespecting other players will result in warning then disqualification.​
• Players must bring a team of 6 Pokemon.​
• Only throw Pokemon out when it’s your battle.​
• Players don’t have to lead with what they send out first.​
• You may use 1 Uber Tier Pokemon, 1 Mega Pokemon, and 1 Z-Move.​
• The following moves are banned: Baton Pass, Destiny Bond, Dragon Rage, Sonic Boom.​
• The following abilities are banned: Moody, Power Construct, Shadow Tag, Arena Trap.​
• All players must be at /warp battle ready for their own battle when the Event Staff need them.​
• Players can only bring the Pokemon that’s in the National Dex OU tier or lower, excluding the 1 Uber.​
• All Pokemon used must have a weight of 150 LBS or more. Click here for a list of Pokemon by weight.​

Clauses:​

• Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokédex number on a team.
• Sleep Clause: If a player has already put a Pokemon on his/her opponent's side to sleep and it is still sleeping, another one can't be put to sleep.
• Evasion Clause: A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
• OHKO Clause: A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
• Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting.
• Dynamax Clause: Players cannot use Dynamax or Gigantamax.
• Bag Clause: Players cannot use items like revive or potions in battle.

We will open Sign-Ups an hour before the Event begins, where you will /msg Tormentful. If you are not on the server but still wish to enter (and will be online at the time the event will start), you may DM torment#4900 or send a message in the
#pokegold-chat discord channel!​

Battle Rules​

• In the “Battle Options”, make sure to select “Singles” in “Battle Style”.​
• Change “Level Cap” to 100​
• Change “# Pokemon” to 6​
• Set “Full Heal” to off.​
• Select “Raise Level Cap” to on.​
• Heal your Pokemon before every battle, do not heal your Pokemon if your opponent disconnected.​

Rewards:​

1st Place:
100% Gigantamax Shiny Single-Strike Urshifu, Master Key, 50k, 150 Tokens, “Heavy Weight” Title.

2nd Place:
Choice of any 100% “Swords of Justice” Legendary (Terrakion, Virizion, Cobalion), 75k, 250 Tokens, “Middle Weight” Title.

3rd Place:
100% HA Emboar, 75k, 100 Tokens, “Light Weight” Title.
